Owen Casey

Our Head of Junior Program, Owen Casey, is a Level 3 Tennis Ireland Coach with decades of experience in coaching and competitive play. He represented Ireland in three Olympic Games and spent 15 years ranked on the ATP Tour, reaching career highs of 228 in singles and 210 in doubles. He held the Irish No.1 spot from 1988 to 2000.

Since 1997, Owen has coached players of all ages and levels. He captained Ireland’s Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams from 2001 to 2006, coached 23 Junior Fitzwilliam winners (and 19 runners-up), and guided 20 players to US Collegiate Scholarships. Remarkably, he has coached a National Champion every year since 1998.

Club Attire

Donnybrook LTC requires all members to dress in all whites tennis attire when on court. This also extends to members' guests.

Club Dress Code

Short sleeve tops must be all white
If wearing a long-sleeved top/track suit jacket, it may be of any colour (predominantly one solid colour)
Shorts and/or skirts must be all white
If wearing leggings or track suit bottoms, they may be of any colour (predominantly one solid colour)

Members and guests are respectfully asked to abide by the Club's rules and regulations.
